ALWAYS use the same login method as you first signed up with, to preserve your activity history (including chapters, tokens, points).

• If you signed up with a Email & Password for Tappytoon, always enter that exact info and login manually.

• If you signed up with Twitter Login, always use the Twitter button on the login screen.

• If you signed up with Google Login, always use the Google button on the login screen.
• If you signed up with Facebook Login, always use the Facebook button on the login screen.

Social Network (Twitter, Facebook, Google, Apple etc) login and Email login are separate from each other and do NOT cross over, so if you use a different method to login, you will create a NEW blank account that does not have any of your previous activity.
Even it the social login is by the same email address, it will NOT cross over to your existing Tappytoon account.

Again, remember:

To log in with your Non-Social account, log out as below:

- Log out from the Menu > My Info screen of Tappytoon.

- Try to log in again.

- The "Reminder" screen will pop up and remind "you logged in with this last time"

- Do NOT click the center button, but instead click the REMOVE at top-right.

- Enter your Tappytoon email and password directly on the login screen.

- Do NOT use the Google button or other social buttons on the login screen, since that is separate and a blank account.

2. Tokens are restricted by purchase platforms.

* NOTE: PLEASE READ the below items carefully to avoid confusion:

  • - Tokens purchased in the iOS app can only be spent in the iOS app.
  • - Tokens purchased from third party Android app markets cannot be spent on other platforms.
  • - Tokens purchased on the website can only be spent on the website and Google Play app.
  • - Web Tokens cannot be spent in the iOS app.
  • - Any content you've unlocked will sync across all platforms (Android, iOS, Web) and remain unlocked for that same registered account.

    (*Excludes mature or restricted titles, which can only be accessed from the Website or Mobile Website, under the account they were unlocked from).


3. Other Possible Situations

- Use another account
You may have a different email that was used to sign up and purchase tokens than the one you remember today.

For example, facebook login is different from email+password login. Or you may have created a new account today instead of logging into your existing one.
Try logging in with another email, perhaps one that you use for site registrations.

Once you know your account email, you can reset the password here: Reset Password

- Search your email inbox for any messages from Tappytoon. 
If you don't see any emails from us in your inbox, you likely signed up with different address than you remember. Examples include our registration/account activation message, or sales/newsletter emails. Our emails will come from "info [@] tappytoon. com" or "confirm [@] tappytoon. com" The email address where you received such messages from us is most likely the email you signed up with.

- Some series have a Mature version and a separate (Non-Mature) Regular version. 
Chapters unlocked for one version do not cross over or transfer to the other. Please be sure to confirm by checking the "Mature" tag or indicator near the title of the series displayed on the website. Also, Mature versions can only be accessed on the website, and do not appear anywhere inside the mobile apps.

- Free chapters that you read in the past (intro chapters, chapters that were previously free during a promotion) are not "purchased" and may become locked again.

After signing up by email, you'll need to activate your account.

You'll get an "Activation link" in your email inbox you signed up with. Click the link to activate your account.
(You may be able to skip this process if you signed up with social login)

 Things to check for when login/sign up with a new account does not seem to work:

  • - Have you clicked the activation link in your email inbox first, before trying to login?
  • - Don't see the activation email from us? Check your Spam or Junk Folder
  • - Be sure to safelist or add tappytoon to your address book to prevent future emails going to spam or junk folder
  • - Yahoo (ymail), AOL (aim), and a number of email services have stricter rules and may not come through to you -- try signing up with a different email domain.

If you signed up but didn't receive the message or need to request a fresh link again:
- please first safelist tappytoon .com,
- go to My Info in the Tappytoon account
- click the red Triangle mark next to your email
- and edit/change your email to another address

If you initially signed up to Tappytoon with an email+password, later using the facebook button instead to login will create a new separate account and your previous info/chapters/tokens will NOT carry over.
 

Using your Facebook account to sign up or login to TappyToon means no need to set up and remember or type a new password. However, sometimes there can be an error when logging in. Here are two things to try when that happens.


A. Reset pemissions (Android, iOS, Web)
        1. Open the Facebook app 
        2. Tap the 'three line' button at the bottom navigation
        3. Scroll down and tap 'Account Settings > Apps'
             (or go here for desktop web

        4. Tap 'Logged in with Facebook' 
        5.  Find 'TappyToon' in the list of apps 
        6. Click 'Remove app' 
        7. Try Facebook Login again in TappyToon app/website, and make sure you don't "uncheck" the email address when Facebook asks for your permission.

B. Delete and re-install app (Android, iOS)
        1. Delete the TappyToon app completely from your device
        2. Go to the Play Store or App Store and download the TappyToon app again
        3. Try Facebook Login again and make sure you don't "uncheck" the email address when Facebook asks for your permission.

You can log in to a Maximum of 5 devices. If you try to log in on a 6th with your Tappytoon account, you will see an error message leading you to our website, with instructions.

To reset your list of connected devices so that you can log in on a new device,
please go to the Tappytoon website > My Info > Manage Devices [or click here to go directly using your browser].

Update your account details like nickname anytime by following these steps:


  1. Select account details from the menu bar.
  2. Click edit icon on the field you'd like to change.
  3. After you’ve added the updated details, click save changes.
  4. Click done after completing all the updates.


In case you have forgotten your password, click on the forgot password button and follow the instructions there.


Note: Once you verify the updated email details, you can resume your activities on your account.

To verify this deletion request is really from you, account self-deletion can only be done while logged in to the Tappytoon website. (*Deletion cannot be done in the mobile app)


Removal is a permanent process, and your account and current balance of tokens, points, all unlocked chapters and other activity on Tappytoon will no longer be accessible.

Once processed, all the above details will be forever lost and not be recoverable under any circumstances.


Scroll to the bottom and click "Delete Account" on the following page (login required) --> https://www.tappytoon.com/me and follow the steps.


Again, please be absolutely sure you wish to delete, as it is immediate and irreversible.
