Tappytoon Community Guidelines

The Tappytoon platform and its associated services (collectively, “Tappytoon,” “the Service,” or “the Services”) are provided by Contents First, Inc. (“we,” “our,” or “the Company”). By accessing or using Tappytoon — including its website, mobile applications, and any related services — you agree to be bound by these Community Guidelines (“Guidelines”).

Tappytoon is a place where fans of stories gather to share their taste, discover new titles, and connect through the content they love.

These Guidelines apply to all User Content shared on Tappytoon. By participating in the Tappytoon community, you agree to abide by these Guidelines.

1. Code of Conduct

We ask every member of the Tappytoon community to uphold the following principles.

1.1 Mutual Respect

Every taste is valid. You are welcome to disagree with a review or recommendation, but mocking, dismissing, or attacking another person’s preferences is not. The title that feels unremarkable to you may be someone else’s favorite of all time.

1.2 Respect for Creators

On Tappytoon, “creators” means everyone who contributes content — the authors and artists behind the series, as well as members who write comments, build curated collections, or participate in any other way. This respect extends to your engagement with the characters and worlds of the story, comic, or novel (collectively the “original work”). Treat every contribution and the person behind it with the same respect you would want for your own.

1.3 Safe and Inclusive Environment

Tappytoon is for everyone. Content that promotes hatred, discrimination, or harassment based on any personal characteristic — including race, ethnicity, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or age — is not permitted and will be removed.

1.4 Protecting the Reading Experience

Spoilers shared without warning take something away from fellow readers. Whenever your content reveals key plot developments, twists, or character outcomes, use a spoiler tag. Never place spoilers in titles, thumbnails, or anywhere that is visible before a reader chooses to engage. Any content that resides outside of the story, comic, or novel (the “original work”) is not considered part of the official story (canon) and should be regarded for entertainment purposes only.

1.5 Constructive Feedback

Comments and reactions are expressions of appreciation for another person’s perspective. Lead with specifics and good faith. Disagreement is healthy; personal attacks are not. Where you see something you dislike, offer a reasoned view rather than a dismissal.

1.6 Privacy and Safety

Do not share your own or anyone else’s personal information — contact details, addresses, or any identifying data — through any part of Tappytoon. Any submitted data or content that threatens real-world safety is prohibited.

1.7 An Open Community

Tappytoon should feel welcoming to anyone arriving for the first time. Avoid in-group language or exclusive dynamics that make newcomers feel unwelcome. Use clear, accessible language, and treat every conversation as an open invitation.

1.8 Authentic Contributions

The trust that makes community-driven recommendations valuable comes from real human taste and experience. Content generated by AI tools and presented as your own opinion is not permitted. This applies to curations, reviews, and comments alike.

2. Prohibited Content

The following types of User Content may be removed without notice. Repeated or serious violations may result in account restrictions or permanent suspension.

3. Reporting & Moderation

Tappytoon is committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and enjoyable environment for all members. The following provisions govern how violations of these Guidelines are reported and addressed.

3.1 User Reporting

Any member may submit a report regarding User Content or inappropriate postings that they believe violates these Guidelines. Reports are reviewed by Tappytoon’s moderation team, who will assess each case in light of the relevant context before determining the appropriate course of action.

3.2 Enforcement

Where a violation of these Guidelines is determined, Tappytoon reserves the right to take one or more of the following actions at its sole discretion:

4. Updates to These Guidelines

These Guidelines are a living document. We will revise them as the community grows and as new situations arise. When we make material changes, we will notify you in advance. Continued use of Tappytoon after an update takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Guidelines.

Love the stories. Respect the people.
